Station Casinos will celebrate 50 years in Las Vegas this July, marking five decades of serving locals across the Las Vegas Valley.

In 1976, Frank Fertitta Jr. opened The Casino as a welcoming off-Strip gathering place for fellow casino workers, which evolved into Bingo Palace with added amenities like a buffet, new bingo room and one of the first race and sports books. Bingo Palace later transformed into Palace Station, laying the foundation for what would eventually become Station Casinos.

Over the last 50 years, Station Casinos has grown alongside Las Vegas, creating neighborhood destinations designed for locals and visitors alike. This highly anticipated anniversary marks more than a company milestone, it is a celebration of the local guests, the thousands of Team Members and the communities who have been a part of the Station Casinos story since 1976.

To commemorate the landmark occasion and America's anniversary, we are excited to bring a dazzling fireworks display, drone show, live entertainment and specialty commemoratives to our casinos throughout the valley. Station Casinos will also celebrate and honor its more than 9,700 Team Members with dedicated events, while giving back to the community through a volunteer week benefiting some of our favorite organizations.
